Developed by Dr. Pedro Catalá, Spanish botanist, cosmetologist, pharmacist, doctor in natural formulation technologies, Clear Beginning Hand Spray is a microbiologically tested, alcohol-free, skin-safe and ultra hydrating skin sanitising spray that is antibacterial, anti-fungal, anti-microbial, and effective against coronaviruses.
One of the very few clean beauty alternatives on the market that have gone through rigorous, extensive lab tests, this powerful yet gentle vegan formula with a fine mist is packed with skin-friendly botanical extracts, such as Squalane and Panthenol (Vitamin B5), to help leave the skin protected while feeling soft and moisturised without any sticky residue, making it the perfect hand sanitizer for those with sensitive, fragile, damaged, eczema, dermatitis, and psoriasis skin. Thanks to its lightweight recyclable packaging and fine mist, it has already been lauded in Spanish Elle and Cosmopolitan for its ability to effectively protect without harming the skin.
The active ingredient in the formula, Benzalkonium Chloride, is an ingredient shown to be effective against coronaviruses at a concentration of 0.05%as recommended by the Singapore Government's National Environment Agency. It is also deemed eligible by US FDA for use in the formulation of healthcare personnel hand rubs, meets Health Canada's requirements as a hand sanitiser ingredient. Clear Beginning contains 0.1% Benzalkonium Chloride, the maximum permitted in skincare products.
Clear Beginning has also been individually tested by authoritative European lab Complife Italia S.r.l. to be completely effective against Salmonella typhimurium, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus Aureus, Escherichia coli, Candida albicans, and Aspergillus brasiliensis. The idea behind this product was to create an effective yet skin-friendly hand hygiene formula that was completely alcohol-free. Not only is alcohol known to cause skin dehydration and irritations, as well as damage the skin's lipid barrier, making it more susceptible to infections, there are many studies that show it also prohibits the biosynthesis of collagen in fibroblasts, which means it accelerates skin aging. Clear Beginning is therefore a powerful yet clean, skin-safe alternative for those who value skin health.
